Rex Roberts' Time Travel Adventure Books

A Mission to the Past to Save the Future

With their home world disappearing, brothers Coru and Payton Wisla chase criminal Moses Zhang through a rapidly collapsing hole in time, 300 years into the past. Building the Time Bore was a political football on Cloud Rez, and now they knew it should never have been built. They must protect Charles and Wren Wood at all costs

.

Reclusive telepath Wren Wood emerges from her forest hideaway, expecting an avalanche of noisy minds in the city. She finds only silence and no one she can trust. Alone in a dangerously altered world, Wren risks everything to scrounge much-needed supplies, and makes a break back to her hidden cabin.

During her perilous journey home Wren encounters Coru Wisla, a tall, strangely tattooed man, and the first person able to block her from his thoughts. It was as if he already knew of her telepathy and had prepared to defend his mind... But how could he? Her family kept her ability secret her entire life.

While Coru now fights by her side, she knows he's hiding something. What does Coru Wisla really want from her?

If Charles and Wren Wood Die, the Future Dies.

2036: Eager for adventure, young Payton tumbles from the time bore into Vancouver's skid row, alone and scared. Time travel isn't as exciting as he'd imagined—and where is Coru? So begins Payton's hardscrabble fight to survive.

2046: Coru has spent a harrowing year in a greatly changed past world, protecting—and loving—Wren Wood. The evidence is clear—this aberration of the earth’s history is Zhang’s doing, who Coru suspects is passing in this century as Professor Red & must be stopped.

Ten years apart and alone in this strange past world—Coru in the wild with Outlander survivors and Payton ghosting through the brutally changed City of Vancouver—the brothers struggle to survive, still searching for one another and attempting to complete their mission—find and protect Charles and Wren Wood at all costs.

Oh how different their paths become...

Wren and Coru are forced to divulge his time traveling ability to his friends and enlist their help finding his brother and stopping Moses Zhang before it's too late.

Together, they form a bold plan, a small, fast moving team, and set out to slip inside Old Vancouver, now New Pacifica, under the cover of darkness. Their goal? Stop Zhang and his POE army before they reach Freeland.

And rescue Payton—if he can be found...

How Heroes are Made

Two sides have been drawn—Outlanders, Indies and Freelanders on one side, Moses Zhang and his POE - Protectors of Earth - virus-laced army on the other

.

Safely hidden on Able Island, Moses Zhang is ready to unleash thousands of virus-weaponized POE soldiers on the remaining rebels taking shelter in Freeland and in Raven's Park. The POE Army's deadly message - join us or die.

A tiny band of Indies and Outlanders, Wren, Coru, Nelson and Dom have secured the antidote to Zhang's Ebola Venus II virus, at great personal cost, but they're still trapped inside New Pacifica.

In desperation, they split up, something they swore they'd never do, hoping one, at least, will escape gang infested New Pacifica and reach Raven's Park and Freeland in time to replicate enough antidote to shield the innocent.

Meanwhile, back in Freeland, things are not as they appear...

Now is the time for every Outlander, every Freelander, every Indie to step up and be counted; for simple, humble people to join together to protect their families, their friends, their homes—to become heroes.

It All Ends Here

Armed with little more than a hand-drawn map of the mysterious Able Island, Coru quietly slips away from Freeland and everyone he has come to love, to complete his mission. This is his fight; he must face Moses alone. Yes, the Indies won the battle against Zhang's POE army but not the war. Wren is not safe—no one is safe—until Moses Zhang pays the ultimate price for his actions here in this time.

Young Aiko, "Little Loved One" wants out of her chambers. She's sick of Papa's rules, the suffocating confinement here in D&D, her only companion the stone-hearted guardian Winston. She wants to be outside, to live a real life, be a normal teenager, and she has a plan...

Abandoned by Coru, alone and stripped of her telepathic powers, Wren knows she needs to return to her home in the north to heal her heart—until a powerful message sends her in the opposite direction, racing to reach Coru before it's too late.

Coru's, Aiko's, and Wren's burning missions send them on a collision course straight into the watery caves beneath Able Island.

Will they expose Zhang's explosive secrets in time to stop him?
